Before legally driving on a public road, you MUST:
- Check that the vehicle tax has been paid for the vehicle you’re driving.
- Hold a valid driving license.
- Have valid insurance cover.
- Ensure the vehicle you’re driving has a valid MOT certificate, if it is required.
You won’t be able to tax your vehicle unless you possess a valid MOT certificate (if required for your vehicle) and the appropriate, current insurance documentation.
